Leather/Kydex hybrid
Thanks DF. Crocking? Would love to see backside of holster so I can figure out what Tee Nuts are. Can't quite visualize it in all leather, and seems that might negate my option of having a second body for changeout. Doesn't mean it won't be a great holster, of course. I know you have things going on...

Leather/Kydex hybrid
Hmmm...MTAC and CB Soopertuck watchout!! I am literally on the verge of picking up one of the two names above, but this tease of yours has me thinking about USGL Clips metal or plastic? Possible to have black leather? Upcharge? Would you see any downside to a black leather backing for the wearer? Ri...

Holster for P64
Thanks for the tip on the fobus sg3 rock. Received my black leather Don Hume JIT Slide OWB holster yesterday. Fit code #18 for Walther PPK fits the P64 perfectly - nice and snug and holds it close to my body. Got it from Ebay Holsters4Less.net for ~25. Ain't no US Gunleather, but I'm working my way ...

New Source for Holsters
Picked up a black leather Don Hume JIT Slide holster from Holsters4Less.net via Ebay. It is the one that was marked for the Walther PPK and it was fit code #18 which is stamped on the belt side of the holster. Seems like an OK holster for the ~ $25 I paid and the gun fits nice and tight. Dry as a po...

New Shipment!
ElGuapo - thanks for the contributions to this thread. I had placed an order, and during that time, I thought about shorter grips but they were not an option on the order form. I just sent Dennis an email to make mine the shorter version, so hopefully he can make those changes, as my order shows not...

Help me with Ammo Weight
Range report thread sparked this, but I didn't want to hijack. Can someone explain the reason we should only shoot 95gr and LIGHTER ammunition in these P64s? I thought it was the opposite and I'm a little confused. I could have sworn the guy at JG told me don't fire anything LIGHTER than 95gr, which...

Holster for P64
@ RB
Unless it's a SUPER sloppy holster, I don't know of ANY P3AT holster that would accomodate a P64 - totally different sizes.
As for the Sig, I think you mean p232, but I can't answer your question in that regard.

Grips look great.
Wood and finish selected?
How many rounds have you put through them now and are they still holding up?
Thanks

How was your P-64 packaged?
Bought it at JG.
Not wrapped, just placed in a box with the ammo and other stuff I bought.
It did however, ride on my lap the 1.5hr drive home like a new puppy!

Marschal Grip Question
+1 Would like to know:
1. Has the cracking issue been fully resolved with the Marschals?
2. Also considering Zee Grips - what are the benefits of these grips assuming I would NOT want any flamboyant zebra/multicolor stuff? Are they rubberized and absorbent of recoil or ??

Ha Ha...thanks Norm.
I KNEW I had seen that somewhere before.
Aw, I just went to the Fixes section of p64resource.com
Bookmarked that thread in case I gotta do it again. Thank you.

Changed My Spring - and a Tip
Boy do I feel like a MAN! After being emasculated because I couldn't for the life of me get that hammer to fall on DA pull, I changed out my spring today with the Wolff 18lb. Hope it doesn't cause any mag issues, but from what I've soaked up, it seems that's the one people go with generally. WOW get...

J&G P-64's
Good on JG...nice that they got you handled. Sucks you had to send it back tho. Those poor guys hate me...I'm one anal bastid. I go in there and they'll let you choose from 3 guns before they'll upcharge you for hand select. Invariably, the guy will pull out the display model to show me initially. H...

Grips & Cocked and Locked
Norm, thanks for the reply. I had been refreshin' the page all day, knowing you'd respond. @ point number 2: Perhaps a stiff safety lever, but the gun has been super cleaned, as I'm familiar with milsurp. Boiling water treatment and simple green followed by soap and a helluva rinse - although it did...
