Best wishes and prayers for Nora. I hope she gets well soon! You are so right that when it comes to our kids, everything else should get set to the side. I'm a single dad of 17 years with a daughter and it's been a really cool ride watching her grow.

Centerfire delivered mine today
Very nice pic. You'll be happy with her, I'm sure. I'm trying to decide how to best divide up my summer hours here in the U.P. Shooting, golf, camping, fishing . . . so much to do, so little time! At least three out of the 4 can involve my P64! Not too sure the local golf nuts would appreciate this ...

P64 Vs. PPK
I already had my P64 when I came to this forum but that is still an interesting comparison. In fact, I just read through it again! LOL It is informative and a good read. I have to admit I've never tried a PPK or PPK/S but I do like my P64.

HE HAS RISEN!!
First time I've gotten back on here since Easter, I think. I ended up heading out of town for the day visiting family and all. Anyway, belated Happy Easter to everyone, too. Yes, yes, He is risen.

Yeah Tomek, Unfortunately, sometimes the official end of things moves a might slower than the the rest of us. But if you hang in there I'm sure it'll come through. Of course, from my time spent in the military I did find that if you bug them enough eventually they give you what you want, even if it'...

Yeah, mine didn't come with a cleaning rod, either. I just use one that I purchased separately.

TED NUGENT on guns and freedom
big54r, you are so right there! As Ted put it in the video that started this thread, we don't need a document to tell us we have the right to defend ourselves. However, the 2A definately sets forth that, by the laws of this country, we have the right to keep and bear arms. Modification of and/or wit...

How was your P-64 packaged?
Mine came similarly to yours, blackhawk. Doskosport case, 2 mags, manual. It's nice to have to transport it being as I don't have a CCW yet.

Carrying Tips
Back to my bicycle holster thing, I was thinking that a padded holster, sort of like the Crossman one my daughter got me, would work really well as long as it could be secured very firmly to the head tube of the bicycle. It would be within easy reach (upon stopping the bike, of course) yet still out...
