6+1, hammer down, no safety in a Pager Pal for me. Just tried it for the past couple of days and find it much more comfy than its bigger brother the makarov. I just miss the piece of mind of those two extra rounds I am giving up.

VERY hard DA trigger pull
I just got my p-64 and also hate the DA pull on it. I will try to polish up the parts, but will probably end up getting the spring kits.
Excuse the ignorance, but what would be the advantages of getting a heavier recoil spring?

If I didn't know any better, I'd say the last three were commercially made. The way you molded and stitched them looks really professional. I have dabbled in the art of holster making, but I don't have the good quality leather to make good ones.

Hello all, new owner of a p-64, and new member of the forum. I have been carrying a makarov in a pager pal modified to hold a knife instead of a pager (something actually usable) for a couple of years now.
