drooping decocker

Yep, sounds like my experience. Norm has linked to some of the posts where I described my safety problem. You'll have to take the safety apart of course - that's the easy part. Boiiiiiiinnnnnnngggggggggg. Getting it back together might take 3 hands. My plunger was very flat. But I think the real rea...

Right on! Glad to see you're back online.

I have a few of your flat grips that you made a few years ago, and love em. Need more...

Loose grips

soviet -

There is a small nut on the other side of the grips, easy to lose. It might be gone? :o

Safety drops every time gun is fired.

That's kind of strange, someone on this board posted that the parts fit perfect... I think it's in the sticky book. Maybe they sent you something wrong? Anyhoo, just curious about the Walther parts. I had the same problem as you did with the originals, put a little point on my plunger too but had to...

Decocking lever problem

Yep, here's one of the original threads on the topic: http://p64.proboards67.com/index.cgi?board=fixes&action=display&thread=1046 When you get to the range, I would also try firing without worrying about dropping the hammer with the lever, i.e. take that out of the equation and see if you st...

Decocking lever problem

It sounds like the same old "Safety Dropping" problem, if you're shooting and all of a sudden the safety engages. Does the lever physically move a little? (doesn't have to be much).

For those of you that carry the P-64...

Well, my thoughts on this thread were not really IF you carry, or HOW you carry, but just the steps you go through to ready the P-64 (if any).

Does anyone rack the P-64 with the safety ON ??? (I don't like to do this, although there should be nothing wrong with doing this)

For those of you that carry the P-64...

Let's assume you don't carry 24x7. When you are ready to go out and carry your P-64: Do you keep your P-64 loaded in a safe place, and just pick it up, holster and take off? Or, when you are going out, do you insert mag, rack slide, work safety to drop hammer (and work safety again if you carry w/sa...

another safety problem

Lee2 - I had the same problem at one point w/one of my P-64's - look through this thread: http://p64.proboards67.com/index.cgi?board=fixes&action=display&thread=1133831696&page=1 (goes on for quite a few pages) Norm turned me on to an extractor pack of springs which I purchased from Wolf...

How stout is that snap? I'm thinking of something like that to wire/attach underneath the car seat. Anyone done something like that?

Prvi Partizan 9x18?

OK, thanks for the info. I might try the Prvi so I'm familiar with a couple more options. Might have to wait until after Christmas, I've been bleeding money lately, sheesh :'( stibnite: Remember, friends don't let friends shoot at Wades. I wish that range wasn't so convenient. Prvi Partizan 9x18?

I'm looking to stock up on some brass case, FMJ ammo (required by range near me). Has anyone shot the Prvi Partizan from AIM yet? I know there has been talk about it, but I'm looking for comments on actual use. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/9X18_Makarov.html I see that I can get the S&B FMJ...
