is this rust?
same thing here. thought it would come out after overnight soaking and when it didn't just forgot about it. everytime I get a new gun(or new to me) I am so picky that I find something peculiar that I feel confirms my fear that just maybe this time I got gyped. but never had a raw deal yet and all my...

The Buy Sell Trade board
well to rehash my above input, I appreciate what you are trying to do. posting is probably not a big issue for many of us "legit" people, but you should at least make it possible for us to view the stuff for sale. if we see something we want we can pm the seller and he can post himself the...

The Buy Sell Trade board
I'm not sure what your main beef is here but unless I am mistaken sounds like we have a situation where new members(or somewhat anonymous members) post ads either to buy or sell then do not monitor closely enough. there may even be cases of outright fraud. as I understand this can't be tolerated you...

second thoughts
I am pretty much a leave it alone type of guy. but that da pull, was almost impossible for me so changed to 18lb and so much better. but I have left the original recoil spring on as I don't really think the recoil is that big a deal. bob that is interesting about the original now being manageable wi...

Yahoo! I got one! CZ82 that is
I've been shooting the cz75, trying to get confident enough to qualify with it but it's getting hard to find the ammo and not sure I will be able to get enough practice in. I'm thinking maybe I need to pick the 82 up and use that instead. I've been putting in an order with ammo to go every paycheck ...

can't put slides back on after soaking in diesel!!
are you saying you couldn't get the slide to go forward because you realized you had the magazine in? I did the same thing once. took me 5 mins to realize I needed that magazine out.

Is the Recoil Really that BAD??
I think too some of the concern has been with the grip hold around the top. some people have to watch it or they might get pinched by the slide. other than that if you have a nice firm hold then it's really not that big a deal after the first shot or two. my vote is to buy, buy, buy.

Gritty Grinding Slide
I would say the gun needs a good cleaning, especially soaking. I had a similar problem on a makarov I recently purchased but I use this also on my p64. nice and smooth now. use this link and the soaking recipe is at the bottom of the page.

Which Hammer Spring are you running?
I use the 18lb because it was the lightest recommended spring. on my next one will probably stick the 19lb on since I don't want to order one tiny spring from wolf.

How was your P-64 packaged?
Mine was deposited into my right hand at the gun shop when I bought it. Just like shoes I like to see and hold it before I buy it. this was the same way I picked up mine. it was my first transfer and I thought, shouldn't we at least bag this? walking out like that with a gun? but I guess a gun does...

P64 Help
well I will try to help. I won't give any advice on mechanics of the gun, thats a question for norm. what I will say is this. if you could wittle the price down to say 75 dollars or less, it almost seems like it might make a good "parts gun" as there is nothing except aftermarket wolf spri...

My new P64
Personally, I like the "used" look on that P64...I wouldn't change a thing. For one, you won't have to worry about carry wear you inflict. Second, you pull that on a bad guy, he's gonna see an experienced piece, not just some "pretty boy" pistol bought at the gun boutique. yes a...

Gun shows are a good place to get a deal on just about anything. uh except guns. ...well at least I have not seen a decent deal on any makarov or p64 in 6 months. of course why would you buy a p64 from anyplace but j&g? the makarovs however are a different matter. I see nothing but overpriced i...
