Re: Best current supplier
Best current supplier - me :o) Check out the Buy/Sell/Trade section of this site. I've decided to sell my P64 in an effort to 'cull the herd' a bit. 2 kids under two...nuff said. This is a complete package, as turnkey as you can get. It's pretty tricked out and shoots great. These truly are accurate...

Re: Missed my chance at unissued P64s
I was able to get an unissued P64 a few months ago for $179 w/spare mag. Much higher than if I bought 4 years ago when I first saw one. My redemption is my 1942 Swiss K31, dark walnut that I got for $129 six years ago in Excellent condition. She is a treasure that I will never part with. It'll shoot...

Re: 22 pound recoil spring.
My 22lb spring went on just fine as well..small end first. I think they must have fixed their springs, as I was expecting to do some metalsmithing as other have pointed out. I ordered mine in January. Works great.

Re: I purchased a P-64 in excellent condition.
Unissued's are out there...and getting fewer by the day. I got mine from a guy in PA. Love it, especially after changing the springs. $ well spent...

Re: GUNS WITH ZEE GRIPS
I think the black with the white swirls looks awesome. I might put those on my girl for 'date night'. It would look great on my US Gunleather (pancake/black/white stitching) holster that I have on order. I have a set of Marschal grips on order too...should ship any time.

Removing Slide
Thanks. I finally got it. I didn't do anything different, other than try it another couple dozen times. Total - about 50!

Removing Slide
Hi fellas.
I recently replaced the recoil spring and fear that I did not put it on small end first. I tried removing the slide now and it simply will not come off. Trigger guard is in the disassembly position, magazine removed, safety on.
Any tips?

Condition?
I would guess that it has to be excellent to appeal to the Cabela's buyer. If so, that's great. I should go check out my local store..

Get'em while they're hot..
Hi guys... I have to admit, since this was going to be my first P64 purchase, I wanted someone else to be the guinea pig with this dealer (sorry). Thanks for the feedback. Jim (dealer) is VERY easy to work with, prompt shipping. I ordered one last week and it came in yesterday. She is beautiful. As ...

Small custom beavertail grip?
Long time listener, first time caller...
Does anyone know if Zee or anyone else has ever made a small custom beavertail grip for the P64? I thought it would help prevent against any slide bite. Nothing obnoxious looking, just an extra 1/2" protruding out from the top of the grip.
Thoughts?
