PA-63 / SMC-918 Grip ?

I just ordered a set of grips online for both pistols but they will come with out washers and nuts to mount them. Anyone know the proper thread / nut size for FEG pistol grips?

Many thanks!

Re: SMC-918 Grips

Yea, typo I assume.
I'll keep looking for the proper grips. Hopefully it doesn't take as long as it did to score the gun.

SMC-918 Grips

Hey guys, I just picked up a FEG SMC-918 in trade and I'd like to replace the left grip panel. I've read that the RK59, R61, SMC-380, SMC-918, and SMC-22 grips are all the same. Vintage gun grips offers some and they state they are for the R61/PA-63. Does this make any sense? Isn't the R61 grip shor...

Sweet looking Pistol. Turks make good guns, seeing more and more of them these days too.
BTW: Dont know if you care but in Turkish Canik is pronounced Janik. Its a place near Samsun.

Re: J&G Nagant Revolvers

Haven't been able to procure any 7.62x38r ammo but did get the 32 acp cylinder installed and took a trip to the range. The cylinder took a lot of fitting to properly advance and lock up. Fairly easy to do on the Nagant, was pleasantly surprised. Shot about 100 rounds of 32 S&WL, got decent group...

Could have been bad ammo. I'd run some known good ammo through it before tearing into it.

Yea, I see that now. Still don't like the thought of a naked gun against my skin or a rod in the barrel.

Re: Versa Carry

Not a fan of the concept, but do they make these in 9x18? 9mm Nato and 9x18 are not the same bore diameter.

Re: J&G Nagant Revolvers

I've searched online and found people claiming to shoot everything from 32 S&W short to 327 fed and 7.62x25 Tokarev out of their Nagants. Several 2nd and 3rd hand accounts of 7.62x25 blowing up the revolvers. Haven't seen anything about 327 fed going kaboom but seems like it should. I think 32 H...

Re: J&G Nagant Revolvers

I have a C&R license and found the cylinder on Century arms website for $54.87 plus shipping, which is $12 and change if you buy $75.00 worth of stuff. I've also found the cylinder advertised for $70+ by Century. Not sure if the $54.87 price includes a C&R licensee discount or why I found it...

Re: P-64 Extended Mag Release

I dont think the split ring is needed/or desirable on a P64. The mags will drop free once the mag release is pressed, similar to a P38. On the Makarov they will not, unless the release is held back out of the way until the mag is free.

J&G Nagant Revolvers

Have one inbound from J&G along with a 32 acp cylinder from Century.
Anyone else purchased a Nagant Revolver recently from them. What did you get, how do you like it, how was the condition ...etc?

tsvideopro This board does have some of the best people on the net. I've stayed active on the P64 resource forum even though I don't own a P64 anymore. This is the one Forum, I participate on, that I can always count on getting a respectful and well thought out reply, no matter how stupid my questio...

Re: Made some videos

Awesome videos, just found them. I don't have a P64 any more but still enjoyed them. Kept looking for the part where you crawl around on the floor for hours looking for misc springs and other small parts. Guess I'll have to do that video next time I have a P64 on hand ;).
