Re: Nov 29 2012 - Keepshooting is selling P-64 mags
I bought 2....the only difference I can tell is the plastic at the finger rest (bottom of mag). A more modern plastic that I prefer to due to my large body in a deep concealed carry. Other than that, they're exact.

It Still "Bites"!!
I guess I'm lucky enough to have skinny fingers for a big ol' boy. I get a nice firm grip with my hand, maybe with my pinky finger out, but never had my P-64 bite.
I have had a sore wrist, though, from the recoil. But I still love mine! ;D

do you not use the spring fix?
I kept mine as it is. I found the DA on mine was a lot like my M9.
Want to get new grips from Marschal (got to convince the wife to let me). I love carrying this little kick@zz number in my pocket. ;D

Loading with the safety on
Darrell: You were told correctly. Do not load the weapon with safety on. You can damage the firing pin and/or the safety decocking mechanism. :'( The manual even directs you the disengage the safety when loading the weapon. If you do not have a copy of the manual, there is one on this forum you can ...

Artur Gorski - Polish Political Leader
I had to rely on the little Serbo-Croatian I know. Yes he is a conservative and stands up for civil liberties.

New member / P64 owner
Welcome there.... I'm a new P-64 owner myself. My hat's off to you for having the capapbility of baking off your cosmo. I went thru two spray cans of WD-40, and a quarter bottle of Hoppe's #9, then coated everything with Outer's gun oil. Now it works like it should. Well, I'll have spare springs whe...

Jamming problem
Good news...........I fixed my jamming problem. Clean, clean, clean, and clean. My problem was a fairly dirty feed ramp. Cleaned it with solvent, light touch with some valve lapping paper, light coat of gun oil......and voila! Feeds perfectly. And my inconsitent DA......had to clean underneath the t...

OK Y'all ain't going to believe this.................. I had that same problem. I also noticed when I cycled the safety, I could 1) actually fire it in DA on the 1st rd out of the mag. Now, here's the unbelievable part......my military training always have the safety ENGAGED, on, lever down, whateve...

loading and unloading magazines
:-[
It's like this, IMHO. It isn't the spring so much as the the ammo becoming getting flat spots from the tension of being pushed; especially anything cheap.
I do go the range fairly regularly, and that's is how I rotate my ammo'mags for both my P-64 and my M9.

Jamming problem
:o I am also a new P-64 owner. When I first fired it at the range, I also experienced jamming, but only with a full mag of 6rds. However, this problem dimished as I shot more rounds. What I experienced was the slide did not go all the way into battery when I did it like my Beretta M9.....pull it bac...
