Newgunner, please describe the condition of your SOG P64s. I intend to order two within a month. Thanks. I just got finished cleaning the 3 I just picked up. The finish on all three was in good condition but had some minor scratches and such. One had a little light surface rust on the underside of ...

How many is to many?
Just picked up 3 from my FFL that I bought from Southern Ohio Guns. Now I have a family of four P-64's. ;D The first one I bought through AIM was in the best condition, it is a perfect 1973 Model with a triangular hammer, this one I use for my daily carry gun. The hammer spring has been replaced and...

Who has a chromed P-64?
Who has purchased a chromed P-64 from Classic Arms? Let me know what you think about them if you've got one.
How is the quality of the hard chrome? I'm getting the urge to order one of them for a safe queen.

How many is to many?
I just ordered 3 more :). I figured one would make a good Christmas or B-day gift for my dad later on in the year. After all he is the one that started my obsession with hunting and collecting guns. I thanked him just the other day for having the nads to teach me to safely handle fire arms in my you...

Mags dropping after last round fired
Thanks for the reply!
The mag drop happens with both magazines. I was also shooting 100g Wolf. I'll see if I can find some 92g Silver Bear and try that next weekend. If that doesn't cure the problem I may put the original hammer spring back in and see if that eliminates the mags dropping.
Thanks!

Mags dropping after last round fired
After shooting a couple boxes of 9 mm with my Ruger P89 ,to see if I could still actually hit the target with a familiar pistol, I switched over to my new P-64. I couldn't believe how well this little fellow shoots! I was hitting the target better than I every do with my Ruger. The recoil was a litt...

New to P64
Picked up the P64 today after work. Can't believe what good shape this pistol is in, it looks brand new! Dated 1973 with thumb rest grips. Just got finished cleaning it all up and re-oiled everything. Not kidding about the DA pull, ordering the 16lb trigger spring tomorrow and fix that right away. M...
