Re: OC vs. CC How do you carry?

CC... usually my P64 but sometimes my Colt Commander 1991A1 when I feel like. The 64 is much more comfortable as the hours go by.

funny, clinking sound in rear of receiver

Whats your daily carry?

Colt 1991A1 or my '64. Usually the '64 because it's much lighter

The Buy Sell Trade board

Went to the Augusta Georgia Gun Show today... Three P-64's for sale for $259 and one junk '64 for $215 "out the door"... Prices are creeping skyward, fellas.

What does your P-64 do?

I carry it 24/7 and have never felt undergunned. Sure....a shotgun and a squad of Marines would be preferable but sometimes even Marines need a break.

Pawn shop score - mags

My '64 came with just the one mag in the gun and no spare... Does anyone have any feedback or purchased a mag from this site?

Any reports on quality/reliability would be enormously appreciated!

Should I give my son my PA-63?

I wish my sons were old enough for me to hand down one of my guns to each of them. Soon, though. Why wait til you're dead for them to inherit something of your when you can do it now and enjoy it?

Range day

Why wait to apply for your CCW? Apply now and practice while you wait. Depending on what state you're in it'll be a while before you get the papers back!

Wolff firing pin spring

I took the P64 with the new springs (thanks Norm!) out to the range yesterday. 300 rounds without a single hangup or misfire! The recoil wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, but it was snappy to say the least. My hand feels pleasantly sore this morning! I'm a very happy camper with my new toy!

Wolff firing pin spring

Norm! You are the man! It worked like a charm! I used a dremel with a grinder tip and flattened the coil a smidgen and made sure the outer edges were flush with the rest of the recoil spring.
