Churchill and Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor
I found this extremely interesting. It also goes to show that what seem obvious is not always so.... From The International Churchill Society Leading Churchill Myths – (5) “Churchill and Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor in advance” Finest Hour 116, Autumn 2002 - Page 38 BY RON HELGEMO On a recent...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Sorry for any confusion and thanks but I wasn't a CPD cop. I knew a lot though and had a very close friend who was a retired CPD homicide dick. What I said in my intro was... Formal handgun education was initially through the Chicago P.D. Explorer Program in my youth, later as an adult I attended cl...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Hello All, Please allow me to introduce myself; I am Ken a.k.a. kilogulf59 and I though I’ve been around for quite some time, I have neglected to introduce myself formally. Now that I am about to purchase my first P-64 pistol (I can't wait!!!), I figure it is about time I do so. For a bit about me,...

Re: Star Super Modelo A
Nice pistol, our bores look like a bad gravel road but the damn things shoot great... BTW, I believe you have a Star Modelo A as opposed to a Super. What called my attention to this was the lack of the take-down lever on the right side above the trigger guard. Both are excellent pistols and were mad...

Re: Star Super Modelo A
The entire pistol was done my Mr. Sam Damewood of Alamogordo MN who, do to the massive increase in ATF license fees, is no longer smithing…he made the grips of African Purple Wood and inlaid an ivory diamond for Matt’s initials. Sam also built two identical S$W M65’s for my daughters…those are slick...

Re: Star Super Modelo A
We love our Modelo A Supers, hell i carry min in the cold months...mines stock and my son's is customized...I just wish there were new barrels for them. Don't worry about ammo, you can either make up your own Largo or reload .38 Super for them. BTW, this outfit makes some "duty" type Largo...

Magazine Modification
OK, has anyone modified a P-64 magazine to hold 7-rounds? I noticed on my two that a seventh round will almost fit and there room at the bottom. Perhaps modify the spring a bit, it does seem stiff enough to handle a touch of shortening...
