Re: mauser hsc

Mine is a .380 made in '71.
Yours in .32?
I haven't shot mine enough tio get used to the slide release.

This is the only pistol I own that I have NEVER taken completely apart (no nerve).

Re: russian makarov

I had to push it forward a few times and I noticed when I pull the trigger guard down to remove slide and clean the trigger feels very sloppy almost like it's gonna fall out! Any thoughts? The triggerguard is all that holds the trigger in position and the trigger return spring is one of the fingers...

Re: FEG R61 Magazine Wanted

An R61 will take the same mags as an SMC 380 or SMC 918 the .380 and 9mm Mak mags are the same. The ones in the picture are PA63 mags and will function but stick out of the mag well.
The actual SMC mags only have 5 holes on the side.

I don't believe you can accidently pull the trigger and until you pull the trigger the firing pin is not lined up with the hammer.

All the PA-63 goodness within a smaller package.
Size wise the difference between a PP and a PPK.

Re: FEG PA 63 Decocker issues

Part 21 at 'buymilsurp.com', the 'hammer release', it sticks up through a slot in the left side of the frame. The safety cams this part down when engaged and it presses the sear out of engagement with the hammer. The top and front inside the frame should show wear marks. Polish and smooth these area...

Re: FEG SMC 918 Parts

The PA-63 and the SMC parts are the same except for the barrel length and the grip frame length (barrel, slide, magazine, grips). All the internals interchange.

I have that one and one on an SMC380.

Doubletap, Numrich has slides. That, a PA63, and some work will make one, and keep you busy for a couple of hours.

Re: R61

The barrel came with the parts kit and was 9X18. I don't know of a source for a barrel as a separate part.

There's a clipdraw on the other side, so function is 100%.

Canik 9mm

Canik, very close copy of a CZ-75 compact except with an aluminum frame. In fact the trigger is a CZ-85 combat.
I found some buffalo horn on Ebay and made grips. This is a very nice pistol, excellent for the money.

R61

Found a parts kit on Gunbroker. Bought a frame from Buymilsurp. Found buffalo horn grips someone had attempted to fit on a PPKs on Ebay.

Re: Trigger problem with PA-63

The spring you speak of is the trigger spring. It comes out of the frame behind the trigger and into the trigger bar where it's slotted on the bottom.
If it's not there I need a dental pick, about 10 minutes, and the proper four letter incantation.

Re: Is there a trick to removing the sear on a PA 63?

IIRC it goes out the right side.
Move it to the right side so that the small side of the sear goes thru the big hole left by the hammer pin.
You rotate it in two axes and out that side.
