New P-64 Magazine

Didn't mean to hijack your thread but it looks like you got your answer and mine is probably easy. I was shooting with a friend at the old C.E. range in GA. We were mostly shooting our AK/SKS's at first - then we got down to handguns. He shot his .32 ACP and I shot my "new" Mak. All was co...

P64 mags

Good question - I have a 1974 used Mak that I would like to make my home defense weapon. I'll admit it took me awhile to get ammo for it (I always use my AK as home defense normally)...anyway...I finally got some ammo and found that it is a serious pain just getting two rounds in the mag due to the ...

What did you get for Christmas?

Personally I like the .357. I don't own one but I have shot a friends' a few times. Good combination of weight and power. As far as the holster goes...it sounds like you have that taken care of. Actually, a very good holster can be harder to come by than a very good gun. P.S. - if you already have t...

Reason for CCW

well, here in IL, the point is moot anyway. Chicago only allows its Aldermen and the Mayor to carry. The rest of us can't be trusted. ANd the rest of the state toes the Chicago line. :( I doubt the "rest of the state" does. I grew up in deep south Southern Illinois - near Cairo - Illinois...

who are you?

Yeah d...I went through Athens in 81 - shared a house with two other Suppos-to-be on the west side of town and had a big time. I was on the USS Saipan (LHA-2) first (Disbursing Officer), then was at the ASW training center in Norfolk. Then was Suppo on the USS Trippe (FF-1075) and then got riffed th...

who are you?

I live in Atlanta (Chamblee actually) very near the intersection of the 285 bypass and I-85 North (that heads towards Lake Lanier). I buzz down to I-20 East sometimes (not as often as I would like) and drive over past Covington to the Charlie Elliott nature area. They have a free outdoor range. P.S....
